Lake Inari
Lake Inari, Aanaarjävri in local Inarisami language, is third largest lake in Finland. The lake offers various possibilities for fishing. Especially trolling, casting and fly fishing are popular on the lake and surrounding rivers. Greyling is kean on flies, whitefish on spoons and perch is a common catch while ice fishing. The king of fish, Lake Inari red trout moves up River Juutua to spawn in late summer and this is the highlight of the season for fly fishers.
